From 1 July 2026 all travellers entering Vietnam must complete a health declaration

Foreign travellers entering Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Quoc or Da Nang must now complete an entry declaration within three days before departure. Travellers who have added fast track are exempt

If you are already inside Vietnam when applying, or the visa cannot be issued because of blacklisting, we deduct the official fee and our service fee and are unable to refund them

We recommend applying at least 2 to 4 weeks before your expected departure date, to leave enough time for review and for any additional documents.
Yes. Print it and show it to airline staff at check-in, and to immigration on arrival in Vietnam.
Once an application has been submitted, administrative and visa fees have already been incurred. If it is not approved for reasons personal to the applicant, incorrect details, blacklisting or similar, we are unable to refund it.
No. We can process a Vietnam e-visa without them.
No. We only need a scan of your passport data page, a compliant photo and your entry details. Your physical passport stays with you.
Enter your expected departure date — the visa becomes valid the day before it. If you genuinely cannot pin it down, pick an earlier date to give yourself a wider window.
No. Once approved, key personal details such as name, passport number and date of birth cannot be changed — an incorrect detail means applying again. If you need a change, see Vietnam Visa Correction.
If you send them within the stated time, the working-day count is unaffected. Orders that pass the deadline are cancelled automatically — contact us if you are unsure.

Always use the date of your first entry into Vietnam. If you go to Phu Quoc on 11 September and then Ho Chi Minh City on 15 September, the entry date is 11 September.
Rules for travellers under 14 entering Vietnam, in force since 1 July 2015:
A traveller under 14 holding a non-Vietnamese passport must enter Vietnam with a parent, legal guardian, or a carer authorised by the legal guardian:
・For a carer authorised by the legal guardian: the traveller must first complete the relevant formalities at the Vietnamese representative office in Taiwan.
If no parent, legal guardian or authorised carer is travelling with them:
・Travellers under 12 must request the airline’s UM (unaccompanied minor) service.
・Travellers aged 12 to 14 must request the airline’s YP (young passenger escort) service.
With an e-visa you go straight to the immigration queue on arrival. With a visa approval letter you first go to the visa-on-arrival counter, fill in a form and hand over a physical 2-inch photo plus USD 25 in cash (cards and other currencies are not accepted) — noticeably more work than an e-visa.

Yes, as long as you enter and leave within the visa’s validity period. If your new entry date falls outside it, contact our 24-hour support and we can look at a visa correction for you.
No. To work in Vietnam you need to obtain a work visa first. A business e-visa only covers short business trips, meetings and similar.
Yes, and there is no limit on the number of entries. You just need to leave before the visa expires.
